LC Energy is a supplier of premium quality wood chip. All our wood chip is produced from timber that is sourced exclusively from 100% British-grown materials. Our wood chip is Woodsure accredited, Biomass Suppliers List (BLS) registered and Grown in Britain certified.
LC Energy’s wood chip registered with the Biomass Suppliers List (BSL) and is eligible for RHI repayments from the authorisation date of our products. The relevant BSL number is printed on all of our invoices so you have all the information you need to submit your quarterly reports and apply for your RHI payments.
To receive RHI payments, you must use fuels that meet the sustainability criteria, the simplest way to meet the criteria is to use sustainable fuel authorised on the Biomass Suppliers List.

Grown in Britain is a certification scheme that provides assurance of homegrown timber and products from the UK. It represents a rigorous commitment to environmental stewardship, social responsibility, and economic viability. Our wood chip holds the Grown In Britain certification guaranteeing that the materials used are 100% legally felled from sustainably managed woodlands in the UK, ensuring a responsible supply chain and promoting local economy.

Fuel purchases for domestic use incur VAT at the reduced rate of 5%.
Please choose the 5% VAT option, unless you:
– Intend to resell the product
– Will use the product for less than 60% non-business use
– Will not use the product as fuel

Please note that LC Energy will not be held responsible for the incorrect application of a VAT rate to your purchase. It is your responsibility to ensure that you understand the legislation, by agreeing to our terms and conditions you certify that your purchase is compliant with the relevant legislation.
Businesses may apply the reduced rate providing they meet the requirements in the legislation. Where businesses do not satisfy these requirements, they are obliged to pay the standard VAT rate of 20%. All other purchases are made at the standard VAT rate of 20%. Please ensure when making a purchase the appropriate VAT rate is levied.
